Thank You!
This winter we’ve held a number of collection days at local shopping centres, raising a total of £281. We’d like to say a massive THANK YOU all the members of the public who generously donated to us when shopping in Bloomfield Shopping Centre, and Castlebawn, Newtownards. Your donations help make it possible for our team to continue providing support and friendship to families throughout the Ards, Comber and Peninsula Area.  Thanks also to Jennifer and Sara (who represented our Scheme) and the supporting band for their Christmas music and donation.

Annual Networking Event Dec 2023
It’s been a busy few months for everyone at Home-Start Ards, Comber and Peninsula Area. Here’s a little update about what’s been happening in our Scheme this Winter.
First up, in December our staff and volunteer team met up for our Annual Networking Event. This is one of our favourite events during the year and it’s all about celebrating and acknowledging the huge contributions made by everyone involved throughout our local Scheme as without the dedication of such wonderful Volunteers, Trustees and staff team, we simply couldn’t deliver our Family Support Services nor operate our Charity Shops.
At Home-Start ACAPA, we love to support businesses within our local community, so this year we held our event at The Alchemy in Greyabbey. It was a great afternoon and everyone who came along thoroughly enjoyed it.
