I’m so excited to be a volunteer! I am currently supporting two families, they are both so different in their needs but their experiences are very similar. I look forwards to the family days because I know when I visit them, I have the best three hours anyone could have. I have made dear friends with the parents and children.
Over the years I have met many wonderful families and have stayed in touch with them all. I see them from time to time and all of them have a smile and remember the fun we would have had even in the hardest times. My own time was a break form the norm and also let parents get to the shop in peace.
I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to volunteer my time for these families and met so many wonderful people.
